  • Reviewing or providing technical input regarding JHAs, AHAs, and pre-task plans.
  • Documenting reported incidents, injuries, property damage, and near misses and preparing factual reports.
  • Promptly reporting imminent-danger conditions and recommending suspension of the affected activity to the authorized project or client representative.
  • Participating in designated client meetings, inspections, or audits when included in the assignment.
  • Providing independent safety coaching and technical recommendations to project personnel.

If this is you, come join us!

  • Experience working on heavy industrial, manufacturing, steel erection, shutdown/turnaround, refinery, or commercial construction projects.

  • Working knowledge of OSHA construction and general industry standards.
  • Ability to interpret OSHA regulations and client safety requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the United States.
  • OSHA 30-Hour certification required.
  • CHST, STSC, CUSP, CSP, or other professional safety certifications are preferred.

  • 1099 Independent Contractor
  • Per diem may be available and, when offered, is based on the specific project assignment and client requirements.

Independent Contractor Notice

This opportunity is offered on a 1099 Independent Contractor basis. Independent contractors may be engaged for specific project assignments and are responsible for determining the manner, method, and means by which they perform their services, while complying with all applicable laws, project requirements, and client safety standards.
