Job description

Salary: $40 per hour

M3, Inc. is hiring qualified Masonry Project Managers to manage commercial and residential masonry projects in Charlottesville and surrounding cities/counties. This is a full-time, year-round position with a starting hourly rate of $40 per hour; a company vehicle and fuel card; and a competitive benefits package.


Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with project estimators during the bid process to answer questions regarding cost; manpower needs; material/equipment procurement; and timelines.
  • Once assigned to a project, take ownership of the project from start to finish, which includes scheduling; ordering materials; coordinating deliveries; subcontractor management (if applicable); change orders; and safety compliance
  • Ability to immediately address any issues that may arise on the jobsite and respond with leadership and clarity.
  • Monitor project costs, progress, and performance to ensure alignment with budgets and schedules.
  • Ensure that crew adheres to safety protocols and that tools and equipment are being used and maintained properly.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for general contractors; crews; subcontractors; and suppliers.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Masonry experience, including project management
  • Expert knowledge of the trade including brick and block
  • Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and execute construction plans
  • Must be an organized problem solver, with leadership qualities and the ability to problem solve
  • Able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with clients; project managers; supervisors; and vendors.
  • Math and computer proficiency (Microsoft Outlook; Excel; Buildertrend)
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • OSHA 30 certification required
  • Equipment operation experience (Forklift; Aerial Boom/Scissor Lift)
  • Drivers License and clean driving record
  • Physical stamina and ability to work outside year-round
  • Positive attitude and commitment to quality and safety are a must
