Job description

Masonry company is hiring a Qualified Masonry Superintendent to manage commercial and residential masonry projects in Broward and Dade counties.

Masonry High Rise and commercial Experienced required. This is a full-time, year-round position with an established company offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities

โ€ขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Supervise all onsite masonry personnel and support foremen managing their crews.

โ€ขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  ย ย Responsible for the production expectation and cleanliness of the project at all times.

โ€ขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Maintain daily / weekly / monthly reports and submit in a timely manner.

โ€ขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Coordinate with General Contractor Superintendent to ensure masonry scope is not hindered and you must document all communications-prepare RFI, etc. requests with your project team.

โ€ขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Scheduling - Develop, communicate, and manage the job planning and execution to meet the schedule.ย  Allocate resources as required to achieve goal.

โ€ขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Site Staging - Develop and maintain a complete site layout plan, coordinate with both internal and external parties.

โ€ขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Quality Control โ€“ Work with project team (internal/external) to develop and maintain a high standard of workmanship; adhere to original plans and specifications to meet goals in a timely manner.

โ€ขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Job Equipment - Identify needs, manage and maintain equipment with internal team and suppliers.

โ€ขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Strong leadership, negotiating and deadline/detail-oriented skills are required to develop and lead the team so they can continuously grow and do their best work.

โ€ขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Physicality is required to frequently walk the site and in the course of work review and inspections will frequently call for walking over rough terrain, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolds, climbing or moving in and out of narrow openings, climbing stairs, climbing and descending sloped banks and moderate lifting.

REQUIREMENTS

โ€ขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  5+ years of commercial masonry management field experience with a minimum of 2 years as a Superintendent.

โ€ขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Be able to read and clearly understand plans.

โ€ขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Excellent communication (written/verbal) and leadership skills.

โ€ขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Spanish speaking not required, but a plus.

โ€ขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Ability to properly communicate with email including represent the company at weekly coordination meetings.

โ€ขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  General working knowledge of the masonry industry and standards.

โ€ขย ย ย ย ย ย  ย ย ย ย ย ย Organization: individuals should be able to schedule and supervise multi-tasking work of a multi-member team

โ€ขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Must be authorized to work in the USA

โ€ขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Must have valid driver license.

โ€ขย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  OSHA 10/OSHA-30 certifications and 1st aid.
