Job description

IDEXX currently hiring for a Sales Compensation Analyst to join the Incentive Compensation and Territory Planning team.

Come join a collaborative and highly visible team within a growing sales organization. You will work directly with IDEXX's sales professionals, take on exciting work, and add tangible value to a fast-paced organization every single day. We are always on a learning journey and are excited to have an additional teammate accompany us.

This will be a multi-faceted role in which you will drive efficiency and effectiveness of the direct and indirect sales teams. You will work in a leading incentive compensation system - implementing new compensation plans as well as making modifications to existing ones. You will also perform ad-hoc compensation analysis on developing trends within sales performance, creating model scenarios to set us up for future success. In working directly with sales professionals, you will assist with the research and problem solving of sales and billing discrepancies.

What do you need to succeed?

  • To be successful in this role, you should be a candidate with a combination of superior analytical skills, problem-solving prowess, strong collaborative abilities, agility, education, and experience.

  • Technical aptitude is a must, with the ability to learn new software and programs quickly.

  • Ideally, you should also have experience in incentive compensation and scenario modeling.

  • You will be a self-starter with strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to flex your style for the audience.

  • You will be highly organized with the ability to prioritize and maintain a fine attention to detail.


What are our desired skills and experiences?

  • Prior experience with Alteryx highly preferred.

  • Use of Anaplan or another Incentive Compensation Management system would be ideal.

  • Data gathering and analytical ability, including summarizing information and drawing appropriate conclusions. Attention to detail. Database skills.

  • Experience with data transformation tools such as Alteryx or knowledge of languages such as SQL would be preferred. Experience with Salesforce or another CRM.

  • Project management skills and the ability to collaborate and communicate with stakeholders from across the business.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of coursework and experience.

Location:
  • Candidates will be required to be on site 2 days a week(8 days a month) at our office in Westbrook, ME.
