A bit about this role:
The Telesales Agent plays a pivotal role in representing Devoted Health during initial interactions with prospective members. This position involves closing sales with Medicare beneficiaries over the phone or arranging face-to-face appointments with local agents. Additionally, the agent assesses healthcare needs, provides product information, and assists in selecting suitable plans. Following the peak selling season, the agent transitions to supporting the Member Service Guide team, focusing on member service, engagement and retention.
Our 3-week training program not only prepares you for your role, but it will set you up to achieve goals set during AEP season. Come prepared to immerse yourself in all things Devoted and learn what a leading player in the industry is doing for our members!
Work Schedule:
  • Start Dates: July 6th, 2026 OR July 27th, 2026
  • Training hours of operation: Monday-Friday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM EST
  • A schedule will be provided to you at point of hire including evenings, weekend work & holidays
  • Please note: Telesales hours of operation are 7 days a week to include late hours during AEP

Responsibilities and Impact will include:
  • Support inbound and outbound call campaigns, educating both prospective and current members about Devoted products, answering questions, and assisting with the completion of enrollment applications in compliance with Medicare requirements.
  • Establish rapport with prospective members by demonstrating a friendly, positive demeanor, patience, and empathy, while assessing their needs through effective questioning and active listening to offer solutions that convert them into customers.
  • Assist current members in evaluating their coverage, identifying gaps, and making appropriate plan changes when necessary, all while meeting and exceeding sales quotas and consistently achieving quality and productivity goals.
  • Support ongoing projects and execute all responsibilities in alignment with directives from the Telesales Leadership Team.
  • Transition from Telesales duties after the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) to supporting the Member Service Guide team from December 15 through March 31, focusing on member service, engagement, and retention to ensure a seamless experience.

Required skills and experience:
  • Possession of a valid/current state health insurance license or the ability to obtain one before the start date; complete and maintain required Continuing Education Credits as required by States to maintain license.
  • Bilingual Excellence: Native-level or professional fluency in both Spanish and English in both written and oral communication (must be able to pass a language assessment).
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required by business needs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships, actively listen, and demonstrate empathy.
  • Problem-solving ability to identify opportunities, offer solutions and handle objections effectively.
  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset, capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to compliance, ethical conduct and goal achievement.
  • Proficiency in computer operations, with the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Excellent time management, prioritization and adherence to schedules.

Desired skills and experience:
  • At least 3 months - 1 year of experience in telesales or teleservice

Salary Range: $24-$26/hr plus commission
The pay range listed for this position is the range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at the time of the posting. Once the interview process begins, your talent partner will provide additional information on the compensation for the role, along with additional information on our total rewards package. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
