Part-Time Live-In Superintendent Position

Hiring for a part-time live-in Superintendent position in a free market cooperative in Manhattan. Minimum five years of experience working as a Super or handyman in a residential setting is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect all mechanical rooms and equipment daily, reporting to Management.
  • Tend to all cleaning and janitorial needs, track and stock supplies.
  • Handle garbage and recycling on the required days.
  • Respond timely to all maintenance requests.
  • Be on call for emergencies.
  • Check-in and supervise vendors onsite.
  • Preventative maintenance.
  • Work in a team setting.
  • Having another nearby job with a flexible schedule is permitted.

Salary commensurate with experience. One bedroom apartment provided as part of the employment.
