Job description

WHO are we looking for?

CAPTRUST is seeking a Project Manager who will lead and coordinate projects within the organization. This role involves collaborating with various teams, managing vendors tracking and communicating project progress, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. This role will liaise between internal stakeholders and external vendors, lead larger internal projects aligned with business outcomes, manage timelines and deliverables, track risks and issues, and support coordination between internal teams. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously while supporting firm-wide initiatives.


  • Lead the planning and implementation of firm-wide projects
  • Collect, organize, and refine project requirements
  • Actively monitor project risks, scope, and financial management and facilitate communication for key stakeholder alignment, approvals, and recommendations to remove identified barriers
  • Communicate with stakeholders to keep them informed of project status and issues
  • Conduct project meetings and prepare meeting minutes
  • Support vendor coordination, selection, and onboarding, including supporting vendor solution requirements and RFP analysis
  • Coordinate and prepare for internal and vendor partner meetings
  • Use vendor management best practices
  • Track project progress, milestones, and deliverables
  • Make timely decisions to keep projects on schedule and within scope
  • Use analytical skills to identify and solve issues creatively
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and identify areas for improving project management efficiency

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of applicable experience
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels of staff
  • Experience with Agile methodology
  • Experience with vendor implementation project management
  • Ability to work independently, proactively, and in an organized manner
  • High standard of professionalism

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

  • Experience with vendor management strategy development and execution
  • Experience in the investment industry
  • Ability to handle multiple work streams and adapt to a constantly changing environment
