The Immigration Specialist will be responsible to support relocation movements and employment-based immigration processes, ensuring compliance with U.S. and global immigration regulations. This role will partner closely with employees, HR, Talent Acquisition, legal counsel, and external vendors to manage visa sponsorships, work authorization processes, and employee communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage employment-based immigration cases including H-1B, TN, L-1, F-1 OPT/STEM, PERM, and green card processes.
  • Serve as a primary contact for employees, managers, recruiters, and HR teams regarding immigration timelines, requirements, and case status.
  • Initiates and tracks relocation movements, ensuring accurate policy implementation and case escalation.
  • Partner with external immigration counsel and relocation vendor to coordinate filings, documentation, and case strategy.
  • Monitor work authorization expirations and maintain compliance with immigration regulations, Public Access Files, and I-9 requirements.
  • Support visa renewals, employment verification letters, travel documentation, and reentry support letters.
  • Maintain accurate immigration records and reporting dashboards.
  • Review and approve invoices from our immigration service providers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Payroll, HR Operations, and Talent Acquisition teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, International Relations, Legal Studies, or a related field, with at least 2 years of experience supporting employment-based immigration programs in a corporate environment.
  • Experience supporting high-volume or multinational immigration programs is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. employment-based immigration processes and timelines is required, along with excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems is preferred.

This role is primarily desk-based and may require extended periods of sitting, occasional standing or walking, and light travel as needed. Individuals must be able to perform the essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.
