Description:

Weโ€™re seeking a skilled and patient-focused Medical Imaging Technologist who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. If youโ€™re passionate about advanced imaging technology and making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes, we have the opportunity for you!


The Medical Imaging Tech will prepare patients for imaging procedures and operate cone beam CT imaging equipment to obtain high quality images for providers. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside physicians to ensure patients receive excellent patient care.


  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
  • Operate cone beam CT imaging equipment to obtain high quality diagnostic images; review images for quality and accuracy before submission to the provider.
  • Collaborate with providers regarding imaging needs and patient concerns.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and report malfunctions promptly.
  • Ensure radiation safety standards and infection control protocols are followed; Comply with all state and facility regulations related to radiologic procedures.
  • Act as a Medical Assistant when need arises, which would consist of preparing patient for exam by recording vitals, symptoms, updating medications, stocking patient areas, etc.
Requirements:
  • NY State Licensed Radiologic Technologist and ARRT certification required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience operating cone beam CT equipment preferred.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety procedures and HIPAA compliance
  • 1-2 years of Radiologic Tech preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills including ability to master the clinicโ€™s practice management software.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a diverse patient, colleague, and vendor population.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and prioritization skills.

Compensation: The compensation range for this position is $31 to $38/hour. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individualโ€™s skills, education, experience, and qualifications.
