What is a Hunting Marketing?

A Hunting Marketing job focuses on identifying and acquiring new customers or business opportunities for a company. They use market research, networking, and direct outreach to generate new business. This role is common in industries where proactive sales efforts are essential, such as B2B services, technology, and manufacturing. Success in this position requires strong communication, negotiation, and strategic prospecting skills.

What are some common challenges faced in Hunting Marketing and how can they be overcome?

Professionals in Hunting Marketing often face the challenge of reaching a niche audience while maintaining compliance with advertising regulations specific to outdoor and hunting products. Keeping up with shifting consumer preferences and seasonal demand also requires a flexible and proactive marketing approach. Successful marketers overcome these hurdles by staying informed about industry trends, using data-driven campaign strategies, and fostering strong partnerships with influencers and content creators in the hunting community. Additionally, collaborating closely with product development and sales teams helps align marketing initiatives with company goals and customer expectations.

Company Overview:
Intel 471 empowers enterprises, government agencies, and other organizations to win the cybersecurity war using the real-time insights about adversaries, their relationships, threat patterns, and imminent attacks relevant to their businesses. The company's platform collects, interprets, structures, and validates human-led, automation-enhanced intelligence, which fuels our external attack surface and advanced behavioral threat hunting solutions. Customers utilize this operationalized intelligence to drive a proactive response to neutralize threats and mitigate risk. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage integrated campaigns across email, social media, video, and website channels that support product visibility, community engagement, and sales enablement.
  • Script, produce, and publish technical video content such as threat hunting and CTI explainers and case study walk-throughs.
  • Oversee podcast production efforts, including coordinating recordings, editing episodes, and managing publication and promotion across platforms.
  • Write, build, and manage segmented email campaigns that promote events, product updates, and resources to targeted audiences.
  • Work cross-functionally to deliver customer campaigns via the Verity471 platform.
  • Create and distribute technical reports and community updates on emerging threats, underground activity, and hunt-related insights, ensuring timely and relevant communication to the HUNTER Community and broader audience.
  • Maintain and update website content for workshops, podcasts, case studies, and community offerings.
  • Collaborate with threat intelligence analysts and product teams to translate technical research into accessible messaging across marketing assets.
  • Engage with the HUNTER Community and broader threat hunting audience by supporting content-driven outreach, educational series, and community feedback loops.
  • Provide marketing support to internal teams for industry events, including coordinating messaging and content for partner programs, booths, and related promotions.
  • Align campaign content with broader marketing initiatives and editorial calendars, contributing to consistent messaging and brand presence.
  • Track and analyze content performance and audience engagement to refine marketing strategies and drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay current on cyber threat intelligence developments and product updates to inform timely, relevant, and technically accurate content creation.
  • Adapt to evolving priorities and support new initiatives in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment.

Education, Experience & Qualifications:
We're looking for a candidate who is metrics-driven, takes ownership of their work, and communicates clearly and persuasively. This person should be able to prioritize effectively, maintain a high standard of quality, and foster focus and excellence within the programs they manage. Collaboration is key, this role works closely with marketing teammates and sales teams, to ensure aligned and impactful execution. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Director of Brand & Communications.
  • 4-8 years of marketing experience, with a track record of thriving in fast-paced environments
  • Working knowledge of the B2B sales funnel and lead-to-close (L2C) process
  • Strong project management skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience with a range of marketing technologies and sales engagement tools
  • Digital marketing certifications (e.g., AMA, MarketingProfs, HubSpot, Pragmatic Institute, Google) are a plus
  • Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively
