The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing all HR functions within the organization, ensuring alignment with business goals and fostering a positive work environment. The HR Manager manages HR teams, leads strategic HR initiatives, and partners with leadership to address organizational challenges.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the HR department, including supervising HR staff and providing ongoing guidance and training.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives and drive organizational performance.
  • Oversee recruitment, retention, and employee engagement strategies to ensure talent acquisition aligns with organizational needs.
  • Manage the performance management process, including performance evaluations, coaching, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Provide counsel to senior leadership on HR-related issues, including organizational development, conflict resolution, and labor relations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and stay informed of changes.
  • Conduct employee relations activities, including resolving complex employee complaints and disputes.
  • Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.
  • Oversee HR metrics and reporting, ensuring that data supports strategic decision-making and business planning.

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and employee relations strategies.
  • Proven ability to drive change and manage complex HR projects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
