Alphanumeric Systems, Inc. is hiring an HR GENERALIST to work out of our Raleigh, NC office. We are committed to delivering human-centered solutions and exceptional service to our clients and employees. Our Human Resources team plays a critical role in fostering an engaging, compliant, and employee-focused workplace. 

We are seeking a motivated and resourceful HR Generalist to support a broad range of human resources functions while helping ensure efficient HR operations across the organization. The HR Generalist will provide support in employee onboarding, HR administration, benefits administration, HR reporting and analytics, compliance, employee relations, training coordination, and day-to-day employee support. This position is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering an outstanding employee experience.

Pay Range: 60k-70k

Key Attributes and Responsibilities:
• Administer employee compensation and benefits programs, including responding to employee questions and providing guidance on available benefits.
• Support talent acquisition and recruitment activities by coordinating onboarding, maintaining communication with the recruiting team, and ensuring a seamless candidate-to-employee transition.
• Coordinate and complete all new hire onboarding activities and assist with employee training and professional development initiatives.
• Serve as a resource for employees on HR-related matters, including leave administration, compensation, benefits, and company policies.
• Promote HR programs and initiatives that foster employee engagement, collaboration, and a positive workplace culture.
• Collect, analyze, and report HR metrics, including time-to-fill, turnover, and other workforce analytics.
• Coordinate quarterly and annual performance review processes.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date employee personnel files and HR documentation.
• Support employee engagement by assisting with recognition programs, team-building activities, and workplace initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
• Administer Flexible Time Off (FTO) processes, including package assignments, audits, tracking, reminders, troubleshooting, and employee support.
• Conduct benefits audits and assist with benefits administration activities.
• Maintain and update standardized HR documents, ensuring current job descriptions are properly formatted and maintained.
• Prepare monthly turnover reports and other workforce reports for designated departments.
• Support SOC II compliance requirements by generating reports, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
• Complete annual compliance checks and maintain associated tracking spreadsheets.
• Process employment verification requests accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform additional HR projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

* Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Experience working with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and talent management platforms. Experience with Paycom is preferred or the ability to quickly learn new systems.

Education and/or Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred.
* Equivalent combination of education and relevant HR experience will be considered.
* Previous experience in a Human Resources Generalist or related HR role preferred.
Physical Requirements:
* Prolonged periods of sitting while working at a computer.
* Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 15 pounds.
