Job description


Supervisory Capacity: No Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Serve as a point-of-contact for employees and management to help communicate various HR policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations.
  • Audit time and attendance records and submit to payroll on a weekly basis.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate records of personnel activities such as hires, promotions, disciplinary actions, performance reviews, and terminations as well as partnering with EHS on any work-related incidents.
  • Ensure all personal data is treated as strictly confidential and inaccessible to others.
  • Prepare employee termination forms and related documentation. May assist HR Manager or Hiring Managers in executing already approved terminations.
  • Schedule and conduct new employee orientations.
  • Respond timely and accurately to HR inquiries.
  • Assist Corporate HR in the implementation and initiation of any new or changing HR policy, procedure or program at the plant level.
  • Organize, support or execute exit process and exit interviews.
  • Drive employee survey actions provide professional expertise for supervisors in creating and executing action plans. Support HR Manager in timely and appropriately issued HR related communication.
  • Track and report on HR measurable/Balanced Scored Cards as well as Key Performance Indicators in line with internal YFAI targets. Maintain and update all HR related data in HR reporting and tracking systems reflecting actual status of organization.
  • Identify gaps in employee performance and its causes together with direct supervisor, and identify improvement solutions, ensuring training is scheduled and effectively implemented.
  • Steer, supervise and execute personnel development processes and realization of training measures.
  • Help facilitate and drive performance management, talent management and succession planning.
  • Serve as the designated proxy for the HR Manager, providing leadership and support for HR operations during periods of absence.
  • All other duties as assigned.

  • Must have 3-5 Minimum Years of Experience in an HR Generalist role working in a automotive manufacturing plant
