Join the OneCare LTC Team — We’re Hiring a Human Resources Coordinator!

OneCare, LTC is looking for a full-time Human Resources Coordinator to play a key role in shaping our workforce and helping us attract the people who drive our continued growth!

We are a family owned and operated long term care pharmacy located in Troy, MI. We specialize in providing medications to those in nursing homes and assisted living facilities all over Michigan, as well as northern Ohio!

What You’ll Do:

The Human Resources Coordinator plays a hands-on role in supporting the day-to-day human resources work at OneCare, LTC pharmacy. This position will primarily focus on the recruitment, onboarding, and engagement of pharmacy technicians and pharmacists. This role requires someone who is comfortable balancing multiple priorities, is detail-oriented, and will provide a friendly and accepting mindset to candidates, team members, and management.

Recruitment

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process of pharmacy technicians including postings, sourcing, scheduling, phone screening, interviewing, and preparing and extending offer letters.
  • Assist our sister company, Mills Pharmacy, with recruiting efforts when needed.
  • Create, manage and edit job descriptions.
  • Check candidate references when applicable.

Onboarding

  • Schedule and organize the first day orientation for all new hires joining the OneCare team.
  • Coordinate training schedule for all new hires with managers and trainers.
  • Review onboarding documentation with new hires and provide login information as needed.
  • Perform State of Michigan background checks and track fingerprint process.
  • Coordinate the pharmacy technician training program and track state licensure.
  • Follow up with new employees on a regular basis to ensure stability and comprehension of duties.

HR Support

  • Support the HR Director with employee relations and corrective action procedures.
  • Assist the HR Director with employee time clock adjustments and benefit enrollment as needed.
  • Monthly reporting for OneCare and Mills Pharmacy.
  • Keep employee personnel files up to date and organized.
  • Track all annual HIPAA, Fraud, Waste, & Abuse, and Bloodborne Pathogens modules for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
  • Track employee absences.

Employee Engagement

  • Plan and implement monthly employee appreciation events for all employees.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors and work with a monthly budget for event planning.
  • Create or coordinate simple visuals (e.g., in Canva) to support engagement and culture.
  • Assist with the execution of monthly employee birthday and work anniversary recognition.

  • 2 years of experience in a Human Resources field is required.

  • Knowledge of current State and Federal employment laws and regulations.
