Location: Fairport, NY
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (minimum 3 days per week onsite in our Fairport office)
HR Works is seeking a hands-on, highly collaborative HR Manager to help shape an exceptional employee experience and support the continued growth of our organization.
This role partners closely with executive leadership to support organizational growth, employee engagement, culture, compliance, and workforce effectiveness.

What You'll Do
As our HR Manager, you will oversee a broad range of human resources responsibilities, including:
  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
  • Employee Relations & Performance Management
  • Benefits and Leave Administration
  • Compensation and Payroll Support
  • HR Systems, Data and Reporting
  • HR Operations & Compliance
  • Training & Development
Experience & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of progressive HR experience across multiple HR disciplines
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification desired.
  • Experience with HRIS and/or payroll technology required; ADP Workforce Now experience preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience advising and coaching managers on employee relations and performance management matters.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across all levels of an organization.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
