Positions/Title: Human Resources Generalist - West Henrietta, NY

Job Description and Responsibilities: Under the guidance of the HR Director, administer programs such as benefits, employment, recruiting, onboarding/new hire orientation, etc. Responsible for keeping accurate records and processing of employee information, in and outside of our HRIS - Workday.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the accurate and timely input, maintenance, filing and reporting of all employee data, including HRIS and security system maintenance.
  • Responsible for timely and accurate processing of all payroll related changes and communicating to payroll partner through current processes.
  • Responsible for administration and management of all Leaves of Absence, including Worker's Compensation.
  • Process new hires/terminations; respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, policies, and procedures.
  • Administer temporary staffing process from approved requisition through on-boarding.
  • For assigned open positions, perform recruitment related activities including placing ads, sourcing and reviewing resumes, scheduling appointment with managers.
  • Conducts new hire orientation.
  • Coordinate annual Benefits Open Enrollment and Wellness Screening.
  • Assist with annual Engagement Survey processes.
  • Provides customer service for Operations associates related to general work issues and systems support. Escalates issues of serious nature.
  • Review and ensure accuracy of all new hire, medical, and current and terminated employee data and files.
  • Administer Company communication program including new hire postings, new hire orientation, internal job opportunity program, employee referral program, regulatory postings, etc.
  • Create and generate a variety of reports for internal consumption, for communication to parent company and for various regulatory purposes.
  • Support the timely input of Workers Compensation and OSHA reporting in Safety System (Archer).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Education & Experience:

  • Associates or undergraduate degree in applicable field or equivalent
  • At least 1-3 years of prior applicable experience

Skills/Aptitudes:

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential key employee and business information.
  • Assignments require original thinking and ingenuity to solve problems.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Working computer knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)
  • Experience with HRIS - Workday experience preferred.

Total Rewards

The compensation range for this position is $54,200.00 - $81,400.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
