Description

 The HR Supervisor will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. This position involves developing and enforcing HR policies, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and handling employee relations issues. The HR Supervisor also plays a critical role in strategic planning by aligning HR initiatives with business objectives to promote an effective and inclusive organizational culture 


  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, policy enforcement, and performance evaluations.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Partners with leadership to align HR strategy with business goals.
  • Coordinates and directs work activities for managers and employees.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies. 

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of three years of human resource experience.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs individually or up to 50 lbs in tandem.
  • Able to sit, stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time during working hours.
