Guide and manage the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies and programs.


Duties and Responsibilities

Recruiting and staffing; performance management and improvement systems; compensation; manpower planning; employee orientation, development and training; policy development and documentation; employee and community relations; employee and community communications; development and maintenance of employee files; handbook development and administration; employee services and counseling; manage the process for discipline and termination of employment from the company; provide oversight to other management on good employee management practices; guide company charitable giving efforts; active involvement with the community in order that the company is perceived as a good corporate citizen.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Personal knowledge of the management and employees; ability to represent the employees to management and the company to the employees; knowledge and understanding of all local, state and federal employment and labor laws; effective oral and written communication skills; ability to establish and maintain constructive and cooperative interpersonal relationships with staff, peers and higher level management
