Responsibilities
The Human Resources Assistant will perform administrative duties related to the operations of the Human Resource office.
  • Provide administrative support to Director of Human Resource.
  • Proofread and type documents and correspondence produced by department.
  • Maintain employee human resources files, records, and information.
  • Complete filing of employee documentation in employee files.
  • Create and maintain accurate current employee confidential information in employee files.
  • Develop and maintain reports that assist in making appropriate business decisions. Prepare human resource reports such as training activity report, exit interview data, time and attendance reports etc.
  • Handle requests and coordinate escalation of issues.
  • Perform ad hoc projects as necessary.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Arrive on time and ready to work
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years administrative experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Extensive knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Ability to operate general office equipment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to demonstrate a high degree of trustworthiness in handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Interpersonal communication- excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate effectively, professionally, with tact and diplomacy
  • Ability to take and follow directions, manage ongoing tasks, and follow through on assignments
  • Ability to work well with others, as part of a team, and independently

  • Open to sitting at a desk for prolonged periods and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
