Job Description ProspectBlue is seeking an Operations Manager to support the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of a reputable CPA firm in Richmond, VA. Reporting to the COO, this role will help keep office operations running smoothly, coordinate tax return workflows, support employees, manage vendors, and improve internal processes. Key Responsibilities Manage office operations, facilities, supplies, equipment, and vendors.

Lead and support administrative staff and coordinate daily workflows. Coordinate tax return assembly, delivery, electronic distribution, document retention, and client portal processes. Track tax return status, deadlines, workflow queues, and outstanding items.

Support employee onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, recruiting, and HR documentation. Maintain personnel and compliance records. Coordinate firm events, employee communications, and recognition programs.

Assist with invoices, deposits, vendor payments, and other financial administration. Support the COO and leadership team with special projects and operational improvements. Qualifications Required: 5+ years of experience in administration, operations, office management, or business management.

Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.

Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and meet deadlines. High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail. Preferred: Experience in a CPA, professional services, law, financial services, or similar environment.

Familiarity with accounting practice management, tax processing, or tax delivery software. Experience with HR administration, benefits, or recruiting support. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, management, HR, or a related field.
