Job description

Operations Analyst / Associate Our client, a healthcare?focused hedge fund, is seeking an Operations Analyst/Associate to join its growing operations team. Location: This role is hybrid, with candidates expected to be on-site 2+ days per week in Austin, TX. Job Description: This is an excellent opportunity to support a complex multi?fund, multi?PM trading environment while working closely with senior leadership.

Responsibilities: Oversee end?to?end trade lifecycle processing across global markets and multiple asset classes, ensuring accurate trade capture, allocation, and settlement. Perform daily cash and position reconciliations; investigate and resolve breaks with administrators, prime brokers, and internal partners. Monitor margin, financing usage, collateral requirements, and funding efficiency across counterparties.

Identify and implement process improvements, system enhancements, and automation opportunities across trade operations workflows. Serve as a key liaison to traders, portfolio managers, fund administrators, and counterparties in support of trading, settlements, and reporting needs. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

2–3+ years of experience in prime brokerage, institutional middle office, or hedge fund trade operations. Strong understanding of equity and options settlement, OTC derivative workflows, and international market conventions. Familiarity with OMS/EMS or trade processing systems (e.g., CTM/Omgeo).

High attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast?paced environment.
