Job Description/Responsibilities
As our Training Coordinator, you'll play a key role in building a confident, capable workforce. You'll design and deliver engaging onboarding, skills training, and development programs that help every employee succeed-from day one throughout their career. Working closely with Operations and HR, you'll ensure our teams have the tools, knowledge, and support needed to perform safely, efficiently, and with excellence.
You'll also serve as the site Learning Alchemist, overseeing our learning systems-including the Alchemy Systems platform-creating training content, and driving adoption of our My Development learning ecosystem. Your work directly impacts safety, quality, productivity, and long-term talent growth across the plant.
What You'll Do
  • Lead onboarding and training programs that set employees up for success.
  • Manage the learning management system: course setup, scheduling, reporting, and communication.
  • Create and deliver engaging training content, from system modules to on-the-job learning tools.
  • Maintain the equipment skills matrix and support cross-training initiatives.
  • Partner with HR and operations leaders to align development with business needs.
  • Support site Alchemy programs, coach/playbook development, and tier program administration.
  • Continuously improve learning programs using feedback, data, and performance metrics.

Qualifications/Requirements
Must-Haves
  • 2 years of training or curriculum development experience, which may include relevant experience earned during a bachelor's degree.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
  • Excellent organization and project management capability.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with LMS platforms and learning technologies.

Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Training or facilitation certification.
  • Manufacturing environment experience.
  • Experience with Alchemy -MD1
