Position: Summer Helper
Location: Pittsfield, Maine
Hourly Wage: $20.00/hr.
Position Type: Seasonal
Usual Hours per Week: 40-43 hrs. per week
Shift/Workdays: First Shift | Monday - Friday.

While reporting to Production Leads as the Summer Intern for our tube and core division you will be responsible for working in a quick and safe manner. Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Receives work assignments and reports back to supervisor when finished
  • Assists in baling scrap from machines and customer returns.
  • Assists in finishing departments, precutting and capping cores.
  • Assists in cleanup in the plant.
  • Trains on lower-level jobs in the plant and substitutes during breaks, etc.
  • Supplements normal winding crews in various packaging jobs when additional crew members are required.
  • Performs other duties such as painting, housekeeping, yard work, etc.
  • Walking, lifting, pushing, and pulling. Repetitive, intermittent, varied, fatigue, very active work, good strength, and good eyesight.
