Are you an organized and detail-oriented professional with a passion for maintaining clean and welcoming spaces? At Oak Hill Rehabilitation and Helathcare, we're seeking a dedicated and dynamic Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure our residents enjoy a comfortable environment every day.

By fostering teamwork and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, you’ll play a key role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents and ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
What You’ll Do:
  • Manage housekeeping and laundry services for residential and healthcare areas, ensuring equipment reliability and efficient operation.
  • Provide specific instructions to housekeepers on cleaning materials, procedures, infection control, and manage room setups for activities and events.
  • Maintain inventory and distribution of supplies, and negotiate contracts related to housekeeping and laundry services.
  • Follow through on compliance reports for federal, state, and develop and maintain housekeeping and laundry policies.
  • Perform duties of a housekeeper/laundry worker.
  • Ensure employee training, and monitor performance.
Qualifications You Bring:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports, complete work orders, maintains records and correspondence. Ability to speak with a resident or staff member. Ability to use listening skills to interpret concerns and following directions.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Preferred:
  • 1 to 2 years of housekeeping/laundry experience
  • One or more years supervisory experience
