Overview
The Overnight Housekeeping & Stewarding Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the overnight operation of the Housekeeping and Stewarding teams to ensure all public areas, back-of-house areas, associate spaces, kitchens, meeting rooms, corridors, and service areas meet Omni standards. The supervisor is responsible for assigning work, inspecting completed tasks, coordinating deep cleaning projects, maintaining sanitation standards, and ensuring the resort is prepared for the following day's operations. The Overnight Supervisor serves as the primary departmental leader during overnight hours and ensures a safe, clean, and organized environment for guests and associates.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise the overnight Housekeeping and Stewarding teams.
  • Assign and prioritize nightly work assignments, projects, and deep cleaning schedules.
  • Inspect public areas, meeting spaces, associate areas, kitchens, restrooms, service corridors, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are maintained.
  • Ensure all overnight cleaning projects are completed according to department standards and timelines.
  • Monitor floor / carpet care, kitchen cleaning, sanitation projects, and public space maintenance.
  • Ensure all supply closets, stewarding areas, and storage rooms remain properly stocked, organized, and maintained.
  • Identify and report maintenance deficiencies, safety concerns, and equipment issues through the appropriate work order process.
  • Maintain sanitation and food safety standards throughout all food and beverage preparation and storage areas.
  • Ensure compliance with all resort, OSHA, health department, and safety regulations.
  • Coach, train, motivate, and develop associates while ensuring adherence to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Resolve associate concerns and operational issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs, inspection reports, project tracking, and shift communication notes.
  • Partner with Housekeeping and Stewarding leadership to ensure seamless overnight operations.
  • Respond swiftly and effectively to guest requests, emergency situations, and operational needs.
  • Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among co-workers. Treats associates fairly and equitably.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications
Minimum one year of supervisory experience in Housekeeping, Stewarding, or hotel operations required.
Previous experience in one or both housekeeping and stewarding operations preferred.
Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
Excellent communication and guest service skills.
Ability to effectively prioritize multiple assignments and lead in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation practices, and safety standards.
Computer literacy including payroll, scheduling, and hotel operating systems.
Ability to maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and performance at all times.
Must be able to work overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events as business levels require.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
Ability to bend, squat, kneel, stretch, reach overhead, and climb stairs frequently.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in guest areas, kitchens, outdoor spaces, and back-of-house environments.
