Job Duties

  • Works with management to create and update budgets, as well as track actual expenditures for multiple areas.
  • Observes procedures and reviews audit checklists to ensure compliance with safety.
  • Provides feedback to warehouse management on: department operations, appearance of department, quality of product, performance of department, and meat plant P&L.
  • Reviews financial reports, verifies results, and investigates discrepancies. Prepares weekly reports for various departments.
  • Reviews capitalization expenditures to order equipment based on production.
  • Identifies and recommends opportunities to drive business to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Assists location and/or corporate management with budgets and updates.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the position.
  • Ensures proper cleanup and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery.
  • Assists with department duties as necessary.
  • Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
