ESSENTIAL TASKS:

  • Manage all employees' behavior and involvement in the areas of Safety (incident reports, closure rates), Quality, Company Policies, Production, Operational Cost, Lean Manufacturing Procedures and On-Time Performance.
  • Manage employee performance by using the hourly annual performance review procedures, and discipline problems per Department and Company policy. Report all issues of concern to upper level management using company policy and company ethics procedures.
  • Required to continually strive to develop and promote all team members and/or prepare employees for advancement and growth within the company.
  • Responsible for certification and re-certification of all employees for each skill in critical and non-critical operations.
  • Work from schedules, general instructions and other data and information to plan and lay out work to ensure an orderly flow of material into and out of the area that meets the customer requirements including delivering the product on time.
  • Must take an active part in generating departmental cost reduction savings in the area of production and process procedures or any other means.
  • Take responsibility for all equipment, tools, parts and area by taking appropriate action in requesting maintenance repairs, ordering items through proper channels and maintaining a neat, clean and organized work area.
  • Required to keep production and other records as necessary.
  • Required to work overtime and hours other than normal shift hours as required by management.

NON-ESSENTIAL TASKS:

  • Perform other duties as required or directed by management.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years ATI or Manufacturing experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • General high school diploma or GED.
  • Previous leadership experience
