Job description

Job Title: Retail Shift Supervisor

Location: 2825 Lee Blvd. Lehigh Acres, FL

Employment Type: Full-Time / Hourly


Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking a Retail Shift Supervisor to actively support store operations by guiding team members, maintaining merchandise and production standards, and ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time. In partnership with the Store Manager, this role helps oversee daily workflow, trains staff on procedures, and supports the achievement of sales and production goals. The ideal candidate is confident in directing others, comfortable making decisions during busy periods, and committed to creating an efficient and mission‑focused work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support daily store operations by directing workflow, assigning tasks, and ensuring merchandise and production standards are consistently met.
  • Assist with training, coaching, and guiding team members in areas such as customer service, merchandising, production, and point‑of‑sale procedures.
  • Contribute to meeting store sales, expense, and production goals by monitoring performance, maintaining operational efficiency, and addressing issues as they arise.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, safety procedures, and mission standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • One year of retail sales experience preferred.
  • Willing to learn how to correctly use all POS and donation systems.
  • Able to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Knowledge of business-related mathematics.
  • Ability to stoop, reach, twist, lift, push, pull and move items; lift and carry a minimum of 40 pounds.
  • Comfortable with standing for long periods of time and the possibility of occasionally working where temperatures and climate can fluctuate.
