  • Coordinate closely with production personnel to resolve manufacturing questions, drawing issues, material concerns, and design conflicts.
  • Support continuous improvement of engineering standards, design practices, workflows, and documentation processes.

  • Balance multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • 5+ years of engineering experience in electrical equipment, power distribution, controls, manufacturing, or a related technical environment.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or engineered-to-order production environment.
  • Working knowledge of electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, BOMs, and engineering documentation practices.
  • Experience with CAD tools such as EPLAN, AutoCAD 2D, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar platforms.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with production, purchasing, quality, sales, project management, vendors, and customers.

  • Experience with power distribution equipment, switchgear, switchboards, control panels, protection, metering, relaying, and related componentry.
  • Experience developing and implementing controls solutions and controls packages.
  • Ladder logic or PLC programming experience.
  • ERP experience, particularly related to BOM creation, material planning, and engineering-to-production workflows.
  • Experience improving engineering processes, documentation standards, and design release procedures.
  • Coordinate closely with production personnel to resolve manufacturing questions, drawing issues, material concerns, and design conflicts
  • Drive accountability through clear task delegation, prioritization, follow-up, and performance expectations
  • Collaborate with the Director of Engineering on hiring, performance management, training, process improvement, and team development
  • Support continuous improvement of engineering standards, design practices, workflows, and documentation processes
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, vendors, internal departments, and cross-functional teams
