Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated Hotel Maintenance Team Members to join our team and help maintain the infrastructure of our hotel. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and committed to ensuring a safe and functional environment for both guests and employees. Experience in the hotel industry is a plus, along with familiarity with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.


Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular inspections of the hotel to ensure compliance with safety standards, and brand standards.

- Arrange for routine maintenance in hotel rooms, lobbies, and facilities

- Organize and manage repair projects with minimal disruption to guests

- Respond promptly to emergency issues, such as power outages

- Maintain familiarity with plumbing, electrical, and sewer systems

-Maintain Pool, Hot Tub, Sauna, and Fitness Center

-Maintain properties grounds including lawn care

-Painting and repairs


-Preventative Maintenance: Develops and executes schedules for maintaining all guest rooms, public spaces, and equipment to prevent breakdowns.

-Repairs & Troubleshooting: Diagnoses and fixes issues with HVAC units, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, kitchen equipment, and structural components.

- Team Leadership: Manages the engineering staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.

- Safety & Compliance: Ensures the property meets local, state, and federal codes, including life safety systems (fire alarms, sprinklers).

-Budgeting & Cost Control: Monitors and manages the Repair and Maintenance budget, including inventory control for tools and spare parts.

-Vendor Management: Coordinates with external contractors for projects, renovations, or specialized repairs.


Required Skills:

- Experience: Usually requires 2+ years in hotel maintenance, with prior experience preferred.

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Proactive approach to problem-solving

- Knowledge of health and safety standards

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong knowledge of electricity, plumbing, AC/heating, and general carpentry

-Interacts effectively with hotel guests, management, and other departments.

Must be able to receive instructions and communicate progress of work assignments.
  • Must be able to work on their feet for 8-10 hours per day
  • Must be able to use ladders frequently as well as going up and down stairs, bending, squatting, lifting, pulling/pushing
  • Must move furniture as needed, must be able to use cleaning and painting products and electric hand tools
