Job Summary

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial performance, operational metrics, and market trends across multiple hotel properties. This role will support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and strategic decision-making through advanced Excel modeling and data visualization.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Analysis & Reporting
  • Analyze monthly financial statements, P&Ls, and operational reports across hotel properties
  • Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc financial reports for leadership
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting revenue, labor, and profitability
  • Support KPI tracking and performance dashboards
Business & Operational Analysis
  • Evaluate hotel performance across occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, labor productivity, and expenses
  • Conduct cost analysis and ROI evaluations for operational initiatives and capital projects
  • Partner with Operations, Revenue Management, Accounting, and HR to validate and interpret data
  • Translate operational performance into financial insights and recommendations
Process Improvement & Data Management
  • Improve reporting tools, automation, and Excel-based workflows
  • Assist with system upgrades, data mapping, and testing for new platforms
  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial and operational datasets
  • Support special analytical projects assigned by leadership
QualificationsEducation & Experience
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a Financial Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar analytical role preferred
  • Hospitality or multi-unit business experience is a plus
Technical Skills
  • Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, dashboards)
  • Experience working with financial and operational datasets
  • Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) a plus but not required
  • Strong comfort with reporting systems and data analysis tools
