Hotel General Manager
IHG VOCO Boutique Hotel | St. Augustine, Florida

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead a boutique-style hotel with a restaurant and bar in the St. Augustine area.

The General Manager will be responsible for the hotel's daily operations, financial results, guest experience, employee performance, and food and beverage operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, sales, restaurant, and bar.

• Maintain a visible presence throughout the hotel and ensure a polished, personalized guest experience.

• Manage revenue, expenses, payroll, forecasting, budgeting, and overall hotel profitability.

• Review financial and operating reports and take action when performance falls below expectations.

• Recruit, train, coach, and hold department leaders accountable.

• Oversee restaurant and bar service, labor, inventory, food costs, beverage costs, and profitability.

• Monitor guest reviews and resolve service issues quickly and professionally.

• Partner with sales and revenue management to improve occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, group business, and food and beverage revenue.

• Maintain high standards for cleanliness, property condition, safety, licensing, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Previous General Manager or senior hotel leadership experience.

• Upscale, boutique, lifestyle, resort, or full-service hotel experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of hotel financial statements, budgeting, labor management, and cost controls.
