About Rebel Hotel Company: Rebel Hotel Company is one of the fastest-growing third-party hotel management companies in the United States, recognized for delivering bold results, operational excellence, and distinctive guest experiences. We are building a culture of leadership, innovation, and accountabilityโ€”and weโ€™re just getting started.

Position Summary: Rebel Hotel Company is seeking a driven and strategic Complex Director of Finance to oversee financial operations for a cluster of hotels across the West Coast. This role is perfect for a hands-on financial leader who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-property environment and enjoys partnering closely with hotel teams to elevate performance, streamline processes, and drive profitability.

Youโ€™ll work alongside General Managers, property leaders, and our corporate office to ensure accurate reporting, consistent accounting practices, strong controls, and smart financial decision-making across the portfolio.

Brand experience is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all core finance functions across assigned hotels, ensuring accurate daily reporting, payroll, AP/AR, income audit, and cash management.
  • Lead and support property finance leaders through monthly close, journal entries, accruals, tax reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Partner with GMs to develop and achieve property-level financial goals.
  • Support annual operating plans, budgeting cycles, and monthly forecasting with clear tools, insights, and guidance.
  • Ensure property P&Ls accurately reflect financial performance; analyze variances and portfolio trends to identify opportunities.
  • Promote consistent labor practices and operational controls that maximize productivity and profitability.
  • Facilitate monthly P&L reviews with hotel teams and coach leaders toward stronger financial acumen and accountability.
  • Manage capital budgets, oversee audits, and ensure adherence to all tax and compliance requirements.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with hotel leadership and provide ongoing training, mentorship, and professional development.
  • Crosstrain property finance teams to increase bench strength and support Rebelโ€™s high-performance, sales-driven culture.

Required Skills, Experience and Knowledge:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in finance/accounting and at least seven years of progressive finance leadership, including multi-property hospitality oversight.
  • Brand experience is strongly preferred, ideally within select-service or branded hotel portfolios.
  • Proven ability in budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, and financial analysis.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with experience developing multi-property finance teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to simplify complex financial topics.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with PMS/POS systems and multi-property reporting tools.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities across dispersed properties.
  • Flexible to travel regularly throughout West Coast markets and occasionally to East Coast hotels.
  • A leadership style grounded in integrity, collaboration, and accountability.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive base salary and performance-based bonus
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) plan with company match
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Career advancement opportunities within a rapidly growing company
  • A chance to be part of the Rebel movement redefining hospitality leadership

Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000 annually

At Rebel Hotel Company, we donโ€™t manage hotels the old wayโ€”we challenge the status quo. If youโ€™re ready to lead with vision, act with ownership, and make your mark in the hospitality world, we want to meet you.
