SENIOR DIRECTOR OF FINANCE

OVERVIEW

A large, mission-driven healthcare organization in the Seattle area is seeking a Senior Director of Finance to join its leadership team. This position will serve as a strategic and operational finance leader responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, operational finance support, and organizational financial performance initiatives across a complex healthcare environment.

The Senior Director of Finance will partner closely with executive leadership, accounting, operations, and department leaders to support financial sustainability, improve reporting visibility, strengthen processes, and help guide long-term organizational strategy.

This is a highly visible leadership role ideal for someone who enjoys combining strategic finance leadership with operational partnership and process improvement initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead organization-wide budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis activities
Partner with executive leadership and operational teams to support strategic financial decision-making
Develop and present financial reporting, operational analysis, and business insights to leadership teams
Translate complex financial information into clear operational recommendations for non-financial stakeholders
Drive process improvements and enhance financial reporting workflows, controls, and operational visibility
Support long-term financial planning, organizational growth initiatives, and financial sustainability efforts
Collaborate cross-functionally across accounting, operations, clinical leadership, and administrative teams

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field required

Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills
