Job description

Responsibilities

  • Change bed linen daily.
  • Vacuum carpeting.
  • Dust all furniture (picture frames, bed frames, lamps, TVs, dressers).
  • Remove fingerprints and smudges (ex. mirrors, shiny surfaces, windows, etc).
  • Thoroughly clean the bathroom area - wash shower stall, sink, floor, toilet, etc.
  • Take responsibility for the pass key and make sure it is turned in daily.
  • Turn in immediately all "lost and found" items to Executive Housekeeper.
  • Shut off all lights, TVs, and air conditioners when leaving the room.
  • Assist housekeepers in any additional cleaning chores she may assign.

  • Detail-oriented and thorough.
  • Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of guests.
  • Ability to perform consistent work to the highest of standards.
  • Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant, friendly way. 

In accordance with New York State’s Pay Transparency Law (New York State Labor Law Section 194-b) which requires private employers with four (4) or more employees to include a range of pay for all advertised jobs, promotion, or transfer opportunities.   This position pays between $16.00 dependent on experience.
