About Midvale

Midvale Golf & Country Club is a private club with a strong tradition and an active membership community. The Club hosts weddings, golf outings, corporate meetings, and member events throughout the year, providing a high-quality hospitality experience in a premier setting.

Position Overview

Midvale is seeking an Event Sales & Events Manager to lead event sales, planning, and execution for weddings, corporate events, golf tournaments, and private functions.

This role is responsible for the full event lifecycle, including venue sales, client relationship management, event planning, and on-site coordination. The position works closely with the golf operations team and food and beverage team to deliver seamless, high-quality events.

This is an on-site role that requires availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the event schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the event sales process, including lead generation, client inquiries, tours, proposals, and contract execution
  • Coordinate and execute weddings, corporate events, golf outings, and private events
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals
  • Use Tripleseat® event management software to track inquiries, bookings, and event details
  • Lead weekly Banquet Event Order (BEO) meetings with internal teams
  • Collaborate with Food & Beverage, culinary, and golf operations teams to ensure seamless event execution
  • Oversee event timelines, setup, and on-site coordination
  • Develop and implement club social events and member programming
  • Track event revenue, expenses, and commissions
  • Ensure all events meet the Club's hospitality and service standards
Qualifications
  • Experience in event sales, event planning, hospitality management, or venue coordination
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with event management or CRM software (Tripleseat® or similar preferred)
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Experience in a private club, golf course, hotel, or event venue preferred
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary of $62,000 plus commission
