  • Compensation :$45/hr to $51/hr

  • Duration:ย 13 Weeks

  • Shift:ย Night Shift (18:00 โ€“ 06:30)

  • Schedule:ย 7 On / 7 Off Rotation

  • Guaranteed Hours:ย 36 Hours/Week

  • EMR:ย CPSI / Evident

JOB SUMMARY

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to independently manage night shift operations in a Critical Access Hospital setting. The RN will oversee Emergency Department (ER), inpatient care, and act as house supervisor for LTC support staff. This role requires strong clinical judgment, emergency triage skills, and the ability to function as the sole RN on night shift.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage ER patients and perform triage independently

  • Oversee inpatient and acute care services during night shift

  • Act as house supervisor for LTC RN and CNA staff

  • Assist with LTC rounds, toileting, and patient care support

  • Provide emergency and critical care interventions

  • Collaborate with LPN and CNA staff (typical shift staffing model)

  • Maintain accurate documentation in CPSI/Evident EMR

  • Ensure patient safety and continuity of care


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 3 years RN experience required

  • Experience in ER and acute care required

  • Ability to independently triage emergency patients

  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills

  • Must be comfortable working as sole RN on night shift


REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)

  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

  • TNCC (Preferred)


SHIFT DETAILS
  • Night Shift: 18:00 โ€“ 06:30

  • 7 on / 7 off rotation

  • Low census facility (ER: 1โ€“2 patients/shift)

  • Inpatient census: 1โ€“2 patients
