Job Requirements
Travel CVOR Registered Nurse - 13-Week Contract
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Position: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Compensation: $4000 gross per week paid bi-weekly.

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (CVOR RN) to join a high-acuity surgical team for a 13-week travel assignment in Cincinnati. The ideal candidate is comfortable caring for patients undergoing open-heart and vascular procedures and thrives in a fast-paced team environment.
Schedule:
Four (4) 10-hour shifts per week
On-Call Requirement
Rotating weekday, weekend, and holiday call required.
Call-back compensation provided.
Responsibilities
Circulate cardiovascular surgical procedures.
Assist with CABG, valve replacement, TAVR, thoracic, and vascular cases.
Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, perfusionists, and surgical technologists.
Participate in emergency and after-hours cases while on call.
Document care accurately according to hospital standards.
Qualifications
Current RN license (Ohio or compact state license).
Minimum two years of recent CVOR experience.
Recent open-heart experience required.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Ability to take call and respond within the hospital's required timeframe.
Scrub experience preferred but not required.
