Safe Horizon Recovery Facility is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist holding qualifications as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). This full-time remote position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of those dealing with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Safe Horizon Recovery Facility, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients to understand their mental health and substance abuse history.
  • Designing tailored treatment plans to address individual, family, and group needs, ensuring these plans are updated regularly based on client progress.
  • Providing a range of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, family systems therapy, and group sessions, focused on facilitating healing and personal growth.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • A masterโ€™s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • Current and valid licensure in good standing as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), which is not under suspension or probation.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred but can be pursued after hire.
Preferred Experience

Candidates should have at least 2 years of direct clinical experience in mental health settings, with a demonstrated background in substance abuse treatment and co-occurring disorders. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care approaches will be beneficial.
