Position Overview

Horizon Care Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our growing team. This full-time position, based remotely and working primarily in an outpatient office setting in Dallas, Texas, offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions using a variety of modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
  • Provide group therapy sessions focusing on skill-building and emotional regulation, as well as individual sessions for deeper explorations of personal challenges.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and security for all clients.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training, and supervision to stay current with advancements in mental health care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, therapists, and case managers, to provide integrated and comprehensive care for clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve come from various backgrounds and present a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship issues. You will work closely with individuals, couples, and families, helping them navigate their unique circumstances and empowering them toward recovery and personal growth.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum of two years of counseling experience, with a preference for clinical context.
  • Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards within mental health practice.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a health care team.
