O'Daniel Honda is looking for a Honda Product sales assistant to join our team. This role will assist in sales responsibilties. Located in midtown Omaha, O’Daniel Honda has had the privilege of serving the community since 1958. Top quality training in the area of product knowledge, sales training, and a mentoring program with a number of our top performing sales associates for the first several months to help learn the business.  Top performing canidates may be offered to move into one of our sales associates positions with the possibility to increase your earnings.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

The purpose of the Honda Product specialist is to ensure an extraordinary client experience while creating client advocates.

  • Approach, greet, and offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot 
  • Direct customer to appropriate sales staff or help them find where they need to go (sales, service or parts department) 
  • Keeps log of showroom traffic and facilitate data entry in CRM 
  • Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses. 
  • Prepare and present demo vehicles so latest technology is enabled and ready for display (Bluetooth, navigation, green fuel options, hybrid tools, etc.) 
  • Explain product performance and benefits 
  • Perform high-quality, professional and knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of new/used vehicles 
  • Be familiar with competitive vehicles and be able to point out the strengths and benefits of the Honda brand. 
  • Delivery of new Honda vehicles
  • Know and understand the O’Daniel sales process
  • Ensure that the dealership has adequate parking for customers 
  • Be the first and last impression of the dealership

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment 
  • Availability to work some nights and weekends
