Job description

Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (Overnight Concierge Emergency Care)

Location: Palm Beach, FL
Schedule: Full-Time | 32 Hours/Week
Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Overnight)
Compensation: $154,000 - $170,000 annually
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a premier concierge medical practice in Palm Beach, FL. This full-time overnight position works in tandem with an existing part-time overnight provider to ensure seamless coverage across the clinic's overnight schedule.

This is a unique opportunity for an advanced practice provider who thrives in an autonomous environment and enjoys delivering high-touch, concierge-level emergency and urgent care services to an exclusive membership base. While overnight patient volume is exceptionally low (typically 0-3 patients per shift), the provider practices independently without on-site nursing support, making strong procedural and emergency medicine skills absolutely essential.

Position Summary

As an Advanced Care Provider, you will deliver concierge emergency and urgent medical care to adult and pediatric patients presenting with conditions that would typically be treated in an emergency department or urgent care setting. In addition to clinic-based care, you may occasionally provide concierge house-call services for members when clinically appropriate.

You will work under the supervision and collaborative oversight of an attending physician while maintaining a high level of clinical autonomy during overnight operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat adult and pediatric patients in a concierge urgent care/emergency medicine setting
  • Perform comprehensive physical assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Independently manage urgent and emergent medical presentations
  • Perform procedures including:
    • Peripheral IV placement
    • Venipuncture and blood draws
    • Medication administration
    • Wound care and minor procedures
  • Recognize and stabilize critically ill patients until higher levels of care can be arranged
  • Coordinate referrals, transfers, and follow-up care as needed
  • Provide concierge-level, hospitality-driven patient experiences
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
  • Participate in rotating weekends and holiday coverage as required by a 365-day operation

Required Qualifications
Nurse Practitioner
  • Active Florida Nurse Practitioner license
  • National board certification
  • DEA registration
  • Minimum 3+ years of post-graduate clinical experience in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Critical Care, or a related acute care setting

Physician Assistant
  • Active Florida Physician Assistant license
  • NCCPA certification
  • DEA registration
  • Minimum 3+ years of post-graduate clinical experience in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Critical Care, or a related acute care setting

Critical Clinical Requirements

This overnight provider practices independently without on-site nursing support. Candidates must demonstrate advanced procedural competency and confidence performing:

  • Difficult peripheral IV placement
  • Independent blood draws and venipuncture
  • Emergency assessment and stabilization
  • Acute care procedures typically encountered in ER or urgent care environments

For Physician Assistant candidates, individuals with extensive prior Emergency Room nursing experience are highly preferred due to the strong procedural skill set required for this role.

Preferred Backgrounds

We are especially interested in candidates from:

  • Concierge, membership-based, or cash-pay medical practices
  • Executive health programs
  • Boutique specialty practices focused on premium patient experiences
  • Emergency Departments
  • Urgent Care centers
  • High-touch private medical practices serving executive or VIP populations

Desired Professional Attributes
Refined Clinical Presence

Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage confidently and professionally with executives, business leaders, public figures, and high-net-worth individuals.

Calm Under Pressure

Maintains composure, authority, and professionalism when managing demanding patients, complex situations, or high-stress clinical encounters.

Absolute Discretion

Demonstrates impeccable professionalism and respect for patient privacy. Maintains strict boundaries and understands the importance of confidentiality when caring for high-profile clientele.

Hospitality Mindset

Approaches patient care with flexibility, creativity, and a service-oriented mentality, delivering an elevated healthcare experience while maintaining clinical excellence.

Operational Agility

Thrives in a fast-paced, continuously operating healthcare environment and embraces schedule flexibility, including weekends and holidays.

Why Join Us?
  • Competitive compensation: $154,000-$171,000
  • Low-volume overnight schedule (typically 0-3 patients per shift)
  • High autonomy and advanced clinical practice
  • Concierge medicine model focused on exceptional patient care
  • Collaborative physician support
  • Opportunity to care for a sophisticated membership population in a premium healthcare setting

If you are an experienced Advanced Practice Provider with strong emergency medicine skills, exceptional procedural competency, and a passion for delivering world-class patient care, we encourage you to apply.
