We are looking for a Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to support end users in a fast-paced environment. This contract position with potential for a permanent role is suited for someone who combines strong technical troubleshooting ability with a clear, approachable communication style. The ideal candidate can confidently resolve desktop and access issues, assist a wide range of users including leadership, and contribute to a dependable day-to-day support experience.


Responsibilities:

• Deliver hands-on and remote support for desktop, laptop, and peripheral issues, ensuring users can work effectively with minimal disruption.

• Troubleshoot problems involving Windows systems, Microsoft 365 applications, and everyday end-user technology needs.

• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access requests across Active Directory and Azure Active Directory environments.

• Support collaboration and file-sharing tools such as SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams by resolving access, sync, and usability issues.

• Diagnose and address printer-related incidents, including connectivity, configuration, and general hardware support.

• Prepare and deploy laptops using imaging tools such as SmartDeploy while maintaining device readiness for new and existing employees.

• Track, update, and resolve service desk tickets with clear documentation, timely follow-through, and a customer-focused approach.

• Provide effective support to employees at all levels, including executive users, while communicating technical information in an easy-to-understand way.

• Approximately 5 years of desktop support or help desk experience is preferred, though equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
• Strong grounding in IT troubleshooting across Windows operating systems, desktop hardware, and common end-user support scenarios.
• Experience working with Microsoft 365 and related tools, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory and Azure Active Directory for account administration and access support.
• Ability to troubleshoot printer issues, endpoint hardware problems, and general workstation functionality.
• Experience with laptop imaging and deployment processes; familiarity with SmartDeploy is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to support both executives and general staff professionally.
• A positive, dependable attitude paired with a solid technical foundation and a willingness to learn client-specific processes quickly.
