Job description

Responsibilities
Sentinel Technologies is seeking a Tier 1/Tier 2 Help Desk Technician to provide hands-on technical support in a mixed office and production floor manufacturing environment. This role will support end users, deploy and maintain hardware, and assist with daily IT operations across an enterprise infrastructure that includes Cisco and Juniper networking, Microsoft 365, and virtualization platforms. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with in-person onsite support, hardware troubleshooting, and working in a regulated environment.
This position is a full time role fully onsite in Traverse City, Michigan.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in Help Desk/Desktop support
  • Proficiency supporting Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
  • Experience with Cisco and/or Juniper networking equipment (direct or support-based)
  • Exposure to VMware or other virtualized environments is beneficial
  • Basic troubleshooting knowledge of wired and wireless network connectivity
  • Hands-on experience with end-user hardware support, including desktop and laptop break/fix, peripherals, imaging, and deployment
  • Understanding the process of onboarding and offboarding user accounts and equipment
  • Familiarity working with ticketing systems
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Must demonstrate a "can-do" attitude
