Job description

Mancan Staffing is hiring a counter help employee in Martins Ferry, Ohio. The position will be 2-3 days a week with a pay of $11. Position will be temp to hire.
Must be able to work between the hours below:
Off Sunday/Monday
Tuesday-Friday 10am-5pm and Saturdays 10am-2pm.
Counter Help and Customer Service employees are responsible for providing friendly, efficient service to customers while assisting with orders, payments, and general front-counter operations. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, greeting guests as they arrive, answering questions about products or services, and ensuring each customer has a positive experience. Employees take customer orders accurately, operate cash registers or point-of-sale systems, process payments, and provide receipts while maintaining a professional and welcoming attitude.
In addition to handling transactions, Counter Help staff assist with preparing orders, packaging items, and ensuring that products are presented correctly and delivered to customers in a timely manner. They may also restock merchandise, refill supplies, maintain displays, and ensure the front counter and customer service areas remain clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the shift. Employees are expected to communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure smooth daily operations and to help resolve customer concerns or complaints in a calm and professional manner.
Successful candidates demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The position requires reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Counter Help employees should be comfortable handling cash, standing for extended periods, and working flexible schedules that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
