Bilingual Scheduling Specialist – Healthcare

Location: Stockton, CA
Pay: $20–$21/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week
Contract: 6 Months
Work Setting: 100% On-Site

We are seeking a Bilingual Scheduling Specialist (English/Spanish) to join a healthcare team in Stockton, CA. This is a great opportunity for someone with healthcare scheduling, administrative, or patient service experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

What You'll Do
  • Schedule and coordinate patient medical appointments.

  • Handle appointment cancellations, changes, and rescheduling requests.

  • Make appointment reminder and confirmation calls.

  • Respond to incoming calls, emails, and in-person requests from patients, families, and healthcare providers.

  • Maintain accurate provider availability and appointment calendars.

  • Enter and update patient and scheduling information within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

  • Troubleshoot scheduling conflicts and help resolve urgent appointment needs.

  • Maintain accurate and HIPAA-compliant documentation.

  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to keep daily scheduling operations running smoothly.

  • Provide friendly and professional customer service to a diverse patient population.

Requirements
  • Fluent in Spanish and English – REQUIRED

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in a healthcare environment

  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on EMR experience

  • Strong medical scheduling, data entry, and computer skills

  • Excellent telephone and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Reliable personal transportation for daily commute

  • Comfortable working 100% on-site in Stockton

Preferred
  • Previous experience with medical scheduling, patient coordination, or healthcare administration

  • Experience working with seniors or in an adult care environment

  • Ability to identify scheduling issues and help improve workflows

Position Details

Pay: $20–$21/hour
Contract: 6-month assignment
