Job description

Minimum Qualifications:ย Completion of 6-quarter credits or equivalent, or 60 hours of instruction in first aid and the care and prevention of athletic injuries, and completion of coaching methods or theory course. Knowledge and experience necessary to coach the sport.
Desirable Qualifications: ย Willingness to devote time to developing the program, dependability and responsibility; able to travel with the team.
FOR HEAD SPORT COACHES ONLY:ย If you do not currently meet the State Statute Requirement (SSR) to be a head coach in Minnesota, you will be directed to the Minnesota Coaches Education Program tab on the Coaches Clipboard page. This is a 6-hour in person course and includes additional online modules that must be completed per the state law.ย 
All Coaches,ย Head or Assistant must complete the Continuing Education Requirementsย (CER) page where you will have access to the required training. Sport Coaches must complete Chapters 1-4. Fine Arts Coaches/Directors must complete Chapters 1-3
