Job description

The Opportunity

Nood is a high-growth beauty-tech brand with a flagship IPL device business and an expanding roadmap of devices and skincare. We sell primarily DTC, with growing presence on Amazon, Target.com, TikTok Shop, and Walmart.com.
As a leader in light-based technology for hair removal and anti-aging, Nood is expanding its line of devices and skincare with new innovative technology.

We're hiring a Head of Digital to own the DTC growth engine: revenue, contribution margin, and the strategic levers that drive both. This is the most cross-functional role on the marketing team. You'll set direction across paid acquisition, conversion, performance creative, and lifecycle - identifying where the leverage is and making sure the right outcomes get delivered.

You'll manage a performance creative specialist, a paid media contractor, and key agency relationships (CRM, web/dev). Day-to-day ad execution lives with the contractor. Your job is to build the operating system that makes growth repeatable and own the results.

What You'll Own
  • DTC P&L. Revenue, contribution margin, and the growth levers behind both. You're accountable for the number.
  • Paid Acquisition Strategy. Channel strategy and budget allocation across Meta, Google, and an expansion roadmap (TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Snap). You set direction and hold the contractor to outcomes.
  • Performance Creative. Lead the performance creative function. Drive creative testing velocity, angle development, and iteration discipline tied to acquisition performance.
  • Growth Experimentation. Build the testing system: hypothesis, test, readout, decision, playbook. Prioritize the highest-leverage tests across offers, funnel, and channels. Maintain a rolling test roadmap with clear ownership and learning goals.
  • CRO. Own the conversion roadmap across Shopify - landing pages, PDPs, bundles, cart/checkout, upsells - coordinating with web/dev resources. Use TripleWhale + Shopify analytics for clean pre/post measurement.
  • Lifecycle & Retention. Own the CRM agency relationship and direct retention outcomes across email + SMS. Tie everything to cohort behavior and LTV and build a monthly lifecycle review tied to new customer revenue, repeat rate and attach rate.
  • Growth Operating Cadence. Weekly scorecards, monthly forecasts, quarterly strategy reviews. Clean KPI definitions, standardized reporting, decision logs, and cross-functional accountability.
What This Role Is About

This role is responsible for orchestrating all initiatives across the entire growth surface - acquisition, conversion, retention - and prioritizing those that drive the highest impact. You can diagnose whether the problem is creative fatigue, a broken funnel, an offer that isn't landing, or a lifecycle gap - and then make sure it gets fixed.

You'll have leverage: a paid media contractor, a CRM agency, a web dev agency, a performance creative resource, and an evolving set of internal AI tools. Some weeks you're building the forecast. Other weeks you're in the data diagnosing why CPA spiked. The constant is that you own the result and you're resourceful about how you get there.

Who You Are
  • You think strategically and operate with rigor: frameworks matter, but so does getting things done.
  • You're deeply analytical: you translate messy data into decisions, priorities, and clear action.
  • You run a tight operating cadence: weekly rhythms, clear accountability, repeatable processes.
  • You partner well with creative teams: You can push for velocity without sacrificing brand standards.
  • You communicate at an executive level: concise, structured, solutions-forward.
  • You're excited about AI and automation: as force multipliers not just as concepts, but in practice.
  • You thrive in lean environments: where ownership isn't a buzzword it's the job.

Requirements

Qualifications
  • 7-10+ years in growth, digital strategy, or performance marketing with P&L accountability in ecommerce or consumer
  • Consulting background preferred with transition into growth or digital leadership at a DTC/consumer brand
  • Deep working knowledge of Meta + Google with a track record of scaling profitably
  • Strong command of CRO, offer architecture, lifecycle/CRM strategy, and experimentation design
  • Experience managing direct reports, contractors, and agencies with clear expectations and measurable output

Nice to have: beauty/skincare/wellness/devices experience, familiarity with Shopify + Triple Whale, marketplace dynamics (Amazon, Target.com, Walmart.com, TikTok Shop), and experience scaling creator/whitelisting acquisition.

Benefits

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience and scope
  • Performance-based incentives tied to growth + efficiency outcomes
  • Potential equity consideration depending on level and ownership
  • Comprehensive health/vision/dental benefits; Unlimited PTO; hybrid flexibility
  • Preference for candidates based in or able to travel regularly to New York City or Austin, TX for working sessions

We care more about judgment, ownership, and impact than perfect resumes. If you're excited to build a real growth engine-across channels, funnel, and lifecycle-we'd love to meet you.
