Common Lives Project – Chefs and Head Cooks (Remote Hourly Contract) Pay Range $35.00/hr – $40.00/hr Crossing Hurdles is a recruitment firm that refers top candidates to leading AI research labs. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience – talk with your recruiter to learn more. As a Chef or Head Cook you will wear a GoPro camera to record real‐world cooking and kitchen activities.

These recordings help improve AI models in human activity recognition and understanding. Responsibilities Wear a head‐mounted GoPro camera to capture daily activities for 5 days within a 2‐week period (7 hours/day with breaks) or for 3‐4 hours per day over 3‐4 weeks. Record activities related to your duties or other manual/creative work in a private indoor environment.

Review, upload, and manage video clips via a secure platform after each recording session. Ensure all household members provide consent to appear in the footage. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data privacy guidelines when handling video content.

Qualifications Adults (18+) residing in the United States. Engaged in culinary arts, food preparation, or related professions (e.g., chefs, head cooks, pastry chefs, bakers, caterers, kitchen managers, food stylists, restaurant operators). Have access to a private, self‐contained indoor space for video recording.
