Synergy Wellness Center, located in vibrant downtown Hudson with an additional office 5 minutes away in beautiful Bolton, is an integrative wellness community that provides a warm, peaceful and respectful environment for our staff. Synergy's scope of services includes counseling, acupuncture, massage therapy, energy healing, yoga, meditation, functional and lifestyle medicine, health coaching, and specialty classes and workshops. Synergy's employees are eligible to participate in unlimited yoga classes, receive monthly discounts on Synergy's products and services and are encouraged to participate in workplace wellness programs.
Synergy is currently looking to add 2 Guest Services Associates to our Guest Services team in Hudson. This is a part-time regular position (approximately 9-16 hours per week) with the opportunity to work additional hours. The hours for our current open positions are: Mondays 8:45AM - 2:00PM, Thursdays 8:45AM - 2:00PM and 2:00PM - 7:15PM and Fridays 8:45 AM - 1:00PM and 1:00PM - 5:15 PM.
The Guest Services Associate ensures that the day-to-day operations and customer service needs at Synergy Wellness Center are carried out in an accurate and timely manner to support the needs of all department managers, staff, and clients.
The ideal candidates will bring a positive attitude, a calm demeanor, and the ability to be flexible and cool, calm and collected in an environment that experiences change and works with the public. In addition, the candidate must be trustworthy, reliable and have the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
  • Engages and connects with Synergy clients, guests and staff by providing exceptional customer service.
  • Fosters an atmosphere of caring and wellness while sharing in-depth knowledge of Synergy's services, current promotions, events, membership options, etc.
  • Conveys messages consistently across various communication channels in a timely, clear and concise manner to all clients and departments.
  • Assists with managing facilities by setting up rooms, tracking supplies, making sure rooms are booked correctly and communicating needs.
  • Monitors client forms, all communication channels, classes, workshops, appointments, and responds to situations.
  • Processes all transactions correctly and efficiently, using several online platforms including Google Workspace, Mindbody, Asana and Jane.
  • Assists with other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Skills, Experience, Education):
  • Associate degree preferred.
  • Previous work experience in customer service and sales
  • Prior work experience in a medical or wellness environment is a plus
  • Previous experience working as a receptionist or in a role where answering phones was a responsibility.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with basic technology including internet, email, Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, data entry, printing, scanning, faxing, and uploading documents, along with the willingness and ability to learn new technology skills and platforms.
  • Warm, friendly and thoughtful demeanor to facilitate exemplary customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated openness to feedback and flexibility to adjust strategies as needed.
  • Ability to respond with flexibility, grace, and calm regarding customer issues and/or process changes.
  • Strong detail and organizational skills with an ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and follow through.
  • Trustworthy and able to handle confidential employee and client information; experience working in a position where HIPAA was important is a plus.
  • Desire to work in an innovative, holistic company, in an environment with a team who are committed to wellness.
