FUNCTION:

To work in cooperation with the other staff members to assist our lodge residents in understanding and following policies and procedures to ensure the provision of a secure environment for them and our staff.

JOB LOCATION:

Fayette County

Job Types: Full-time (1-Wednesday- Sunday 3pm-11pm), Part-time (Friday, Saturday, & Sunday, 1-1stand 1-2ndshift)

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Work Location: In person

Responsibilities

DUTIES

  • Greet everyone entering the facility in a kind, friendly manner.

  • Upon checking in a client, give them a tour of the building

  • Read logbook upon going on duty

  • Referring questions regarding admission to the Director of Guest Services

  • Have working knowledge of Employee Procedure Manual and Residential Policy Manual

  • Circulate throughout the building and grounds every 45 minutes, making sure that rules are followed and security maintained

  • Record a head count at least 3 times per shift

  • Keep all assigned statistics up to date

  • Responsible for the cleanliness of the facility as instructed by the Director of Guest Services

  • Check on diners at each meal and monitor dining room during mealtimes, making any necessary announcements, etc.

  • Make entries in the logbook of pertinent events or information from your shift

  • Keep the hallways clear of loitering residents

  • Maintain security of lodge by monitoring the comings and goings of visitors, making sure VISITOR badges are worn and others entering area have signed in and have appropriate ID or badge

  • Responsible for covering for co-workers during absences

  • Provide other services as required for the efficient functioning of The Salvation Army
